About the Event

The 8th Annual CARDV Mother's Day Run/Walk for Safe Families included a 5K run, a 1 & 2-mile walk, and 5K walk and a Family Fun Fair.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence. Funds raised are used to sustain CARDV's shelter program, advocacy services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, and CARDV's community education program.

Date & Time

Saturday, May 8, 2010
8:00am: Check-in and t-shirt pick up
9:00am: Walker start
9:15am: Run start

Registration

  • Online Registration
  • Paper Registration Form
  • Pre-registration entry fee for both Runners and Walkers is $20 and includes a T-shirt
  • Late entries received after 5pm, Thursday, April 29, 2010, are $25 and does not include a T-shirt

Location & Course Information

  • Festivities are staged in the parking lot at Second Street and Western Boulevard in downtown Corvallis
  • Winding through beautiful Pioneer and Avery Parks, the run is a flat 5K out and back
  • Enjoy Corvallis' Riverfront Park while completing a 1-mile, 2-mile, or 5K walk
  • Water and refreshments are available for participants at the finish line
