CARDV's annual Mother's Day Run/Walk for Safe Families, now in its tenth year, is one of our major fundraising events, as well as a wonderful community outreach event raising awareness of CARDV services. Last year, a record breaking 573 runners and walkers participated in the event. We need reliable, energetic volunteers to make this event a success.
Volunteer needs
- Event Planning Committee (meets monthly December-June)
- Admin and Promotional Support (work to be done Jan-April)
- Distributing posters
- Preparing race bibs
- Assistance with door prizes
- Assembling signage
- Day-of Run/Walk Support (May 12, 2012, 6 a.m.-12 p.m.)
- Set up/Clean up
